Helen ''Wardell'' Cone, age 71, of Everton, passed away at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Wardell was born in Harrison on February 9, 1950, to Ward and Dollye (Kelley) Richardson. Wardell was preceded in death by her parents.
Wardell attended the First Pentecostal Church of Pindall, Arkansas. She worked as a project manager at Claridge Products and Equipment, Inc. in Harrison for over 40 years. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, fostering animals, coloring in her coloring book, word searches, and embroidering. Her favorite activity was spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Wardell is survived by two daughters, Sherry (Bill) Arnold of Rogers and Christene (Billy) Lewis of Bellefonte; one son, Brandon (Liz) Cone, of Everton; three brothers, James Richardson of Russellville, Ron Richardson of Pea Ridge, and Tim Richardson of Lead Hill; one sister, Nell Richardson, of Lead Hill; six grandchildren, Russell, Grace, Claire, Katie, Emily and James; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was Friday, June 4, 2021, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Graveside service was Saturday, June 5, 2021, in Milum Cemetery, Lead Hill, Arkansas, with Paul Holder officiating.
Pallbearers were Bill Arnold, Billy Lewis, Tim Richardson, James Richardson, Russell Arnold, and James Cone.

Wardell was a special lady. Prayers of comfort to all her children and grandchildren.

Oh my gosh, I was so sad to hear about her passing. I knew her when I was a kid and she was so sweet to me. My thoughts and prayers are with the family!

My sincere sympathy to all the family. The Richardson's were a great pioneer family who supported many school activities. Wardell was beautiful, inside and out. Many prayers during this time of loss.
Wardell has been my sister in law for 53 years. I will truly miss her. My prayers are with you 3 kids and grandchildren and all other members of our family. I love all of you.
