Shirley Jeanette (Prince) Jarvis, 77, of Clarksville, Arkansas passed away May 23, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born August 21, 1943 in Rasberry, Arkansas to her parents, Granville, and Gertie (Rogers) Prince. Shirley worked as a waitress and attended Life Bridge Church. Shirley was a loving caring mother, grandmother (better known as Nanny), and sister. Shirley was a strong single mother. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Granville, and Gertie (Rogers) Prince; one brother, Norman Prince, three sisters: Alta Scott, Wanda Patterson and Mary Ethel Prince, grandson Christian Turner.
Shirley is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Jarvis of Clarksville, and Teri & Dean Holman of Knoxville; three grandchildren, Jason Young, Matt Mooney, and Bryan Jones; 10 great grandchildren, Karson Flores Mooney, Kaylee Young, Heith Jones, Bryant Jones, Wyatt Jones, Italli Mooney, Gunner Young, Isaiah Santiago, and Aaliyah Santiago; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at Roller-Cox Funeral Home on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 10:00 A.M with Bro. James Wadddell officiating. Burial will follow at the Solo Cemetery in Hector with David Shepard, Scott Trujillo, Doug Shepard, Junior Young, Lonnie Wilson, and Phil Vanover serving as Pallbearers.
