Carl Lee Wheeler, 62, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 at UAMS in Little Rock. Carl was born January 25, 1959 to J.C. and Betty (Warren) Wheeler. Carl served our nation in the Army National Guard and the United States Air Force. He was also a long-haul truck driver, and a personal care aide before retiring. Carl enjoyed the outdoors and his passions included hunting, fishing, and paragliding.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Adrath and Louise Wheeler of Clarksville; maternal grandparents, Lee and Kathleen Warren of Ozone; mother, Betty Wheeler of Clarksville; sister Vickie Mack and brother-in-law Christopher (Bo) Mack of Fallsville.
Carl is survived by his love of 12 years, Karen Denise Schmidt; three daughters Milisa Montgomery of Hartman, Angela (Steve) Kesterson of Russellville, Barbara Wheeler of Paris; one son C.J. Wheeler of Kennewick, Washington; seven grandchildren: Isaiah Montgomery, Isaac Montgomery, Heyleigh Montgomery, Jordyn Montgomery, Jacob Williams, Kaeli Williams, and Joshua Gann; father and step-mother, J.C. and Glenda Wheeler of Clarksville; sisters Kathie (Kevin) Pattermann of Clarksville, Ronda (David) Graves of Hagarville; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private memorial service to celebrate his life.
