Diane Smith, 60, of Jonesboro passed away Monday, May 17, 2021. She was born March 9, 1961 in Ruleville, Mississippi to Kenneth and Dean (Lomenick) Ferguson. She attended Highland Drive Baptist Church and loved reading and dogs. Mrs. Smith worked as an executive assistant for Orgill Brothers, Flash Market and later she was also a loving caregiver.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Those left to cherish the memories of Diane are her mother; daughter, April Diane Arwood; grandson, Kenneth Pryce Arwood; sister, Kim (Taylor) Moore and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue, Jonesboro, AR with Brother Johnny Hutchinson officiating. Visitation will precede services at 1:00 pm
.
Burial will be in Crittenden Memorial Park, Marion, AR. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Donald Lee Oakes, David Ferguson, Jerry McMinn, Matt Manley, Jacob Eddleman and Wilmer Woolbright. Donald Oaks will be an honorary pallbearer.
In lieu of flowers lasting memorials may be made to Highland Drive Baptist Church, 515 East Highland Drive, Jonesboro, AR 72401

Diane was a loving friend for me in High School, I will cherish my memories of our time together. Praise the Lord that she knew Jesus & Believed- Don't look for the Living among the dead, she is with the Lord now.

I just found out this morning of Diane's sudden passing . My Deepest and Heartfelt Condolences Ms. Ferguson, Kim and Family. I haven't seen Y'all in many years but My Childhood memories haven't faded. Diane will be Sorley missed.
