George "Don" Havener, 92 of Lamar, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Clarksville. Don was born February 18, 1929 in Lamar, Ar. to Mr. Dewey and Rebecca (Pearson) Havener. Don served our Nation in the United States Army. He was a devoted husband and father who loved to work.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 67 year Coleen Havener, one son Stephen Havener, one sister Reba Morland, and two brothers: Johnnie and Norman Havener.
Mr. Havener is survived by his children: son Phillip Havener and wife Barbie of Alexandria, LA.; daughter Terri and husband Roger Fowler of Rogers, AR.; four grandchildren: Rachel Rachal, Blake Havener, Chelsey Hurd, and Jillian Quinn; two great grandchildren: Adelaide Quinn and Kaydence Hurd; and a host of friends and other family.
Mr. Havener's funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Roller- Cox Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lamar Cemetery.

Much of our current home was remodeled by Mr. Havener and Blue. Quality, honest work and he was the nicest man. Loved visiting with him and his lovely Coleen. RIP.
