I was so sad to hear Jean is gone. She was a funny lively lady. She and I talked for hours. Being only three years apart we shared stories about growing up, kids, and her hilarious wit brightened my day during this long lonely year of 2020. She was kindly honest and straightforward. I will miss her terribly. She was a pearl of great price.

I remember as a child how kind Jean was to me and Forest. In those days her kindness and little gifts to us was a wonderful thing. Our life was hard and there was not a lot of kindness in our life at that time. Her big smile, her hugs and little gifts made us feel loved. And that's what it is all about, isn't it Forestine
