Anna LaVerne McCutcheon Holt, age 90, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. She was born at Bass, Arkansas on November 20, 1930, the daughter of William Byrom and Grace Elizabeth (Hamilton) McCutcheon. She was preceded in death by Jack, her husband of 61 years; her parents; and a niece, Sharon Montgomery.

Anna graduated from Bellefonte High School in 1948 and attended Draughon's Business College in Springfield, Missouri. She was employed for 15 years by the Agricultural Conservation and Stabilization Service. Her late husband, Jack, was a self-employed business owner in Harrison and she handled all of the bookkeeping. She was a member of the Northside Church of Christ. She was a lifetime member of the PTA and was a member of the Harrison Art League for many years.

Anna is survived by her son, Robert Holt and wife Katie, of Harrison; her daughter, Susan Holt, of Little Rock; her grandson, Richard Holt and wife Hollianne, of Fayetteville; her granddaughter, Anna Kate Coody, of Lawton, Oklahoma; one sister, Norma Brazell and husband Rex of Everton; two great-grandsons, Henry Holt and Hudson Holt, of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.



Visitation was on Saturday, May 15, 2021, with the funeral to following., both at the Northside Church of Christ, with Richie Poe officiating.

Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison.

Pallbearers were Richard Holt, Scott Tennyson, Dr. Sam Scroggins, Jim Conner, Rick Quattlebaum, and Dr. Ken Collins.

Honorary pallbearers were Rex Brazell, Bill Doshier, Bobby Malone, and Allen Bowser.
