Raymond Dean Holt, 61 of Clarksville, AR., passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 in Russellville, AR. Raymond was born April 25, 1960 in Clarksville, AR to his parents Dealon Ovando Holt and Lena Juanita (Sisk) Holt. He was a Deacon at Second Baptist Church where he also started and was Director of the Food Pantry. He loved and adored his grandchildren, and he was known as Papa. Throughout his working years he worked at Windsor Door, Sara Lee and ASI.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Dealon Ovando Holt and Lena Juanita (Sisk) Holt; son Bryan Dean Holt; brother George Allen Holt; and Father-In-Law Clifford Metzker.
Raymond is survived by his spouse of almost 44 years Janet (Metzker) Holt of Clarksville; daughter Melanie (Keith) Day of Knoxville; three grandchildren Malachi (Sarah) Day of Lamar; Abbigail Day of Knoxville; and Mason Day of Knoxville; brother Jerry Holt of Clarksville; two sisters Becky Scarberry of Coal Hill; and Brenda (James) Harden of Clarksville; Mother-In-Law Lois Metzker of Clarksville; and numerous nieces and nephews and host of friends and church family.
Visitation is 6:00 '''' 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be at Second Baptist Church, Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Tom Dicus and Bro. William Hickman officiating. Burial will follow at Lamar Cemetery with James Callahan, Andrew Daniels, Adam Bosold, Brett Daniel, Chris Cain, Jason Young, and Kevin Johnston serving as pallbearers. Jarrad Callahan, Jamie Johnston, and Bill Daniels serving as honorary pallbearers.

Raymond was a great guy, we got to visit about once a Month when he would come to Tyson to pick up chicken for the compassion center, he will truly be missed!! Prayers for Janet and the Family!!
