I lived in Alamagordo briefly in the mid 1970s and met Allen and his family at the church he pastored. We became friends. After 6 months or so I moved back to Oakland, CA, my home town. I never kept in touch, but I remember him still. From the descriptions I read in other comments, they match the person I knew, a wonderful, kind, and God-led gentleman.
Memories, although good, are no comparison to the glories of eternity.
Allen was truly a blessing to those around him. I had the privilege of working with Allen for so many years at North Little Rock Water and Central Arkansas water, where he controlled the all the pump stations and storage facilities that provided drinking water for hundreds of thousands of people in the central Arkansas area. And he did it superbly., as he did everything in life. He was someone you always looked forward to seeing because he was full of sunshine that came from within. He was a blessing to so many lives including mine.
Mary, I am so sorry for your loss and regret not being able to tell you in person. Just know, that Allen and you are loved . May God bless you and your family in this time of loss. But the memories of Allen will last forever. He was a good, good man.
Bro Brady was the pastor of our church in Alamogordo, NM when I was a teenager. My family, and the rest of our congregation thought very highly of him. We appreciated his humility, his kindness, sincerity, sense of humor, friendship, and willingness to work hard. We loved him and his family.
I'm thankful that we can have the assurance that he is now rejoicing in the presence of his Savior. We'll look forward to meeting him again some day.
May God comfort his wife, family, and friends.
I have always believed that Mr. Brady had a direct line to Jesus. I have had him pray for me and be healed of pain instantly. He was one in a million. I've never met a more prayerful, humble man. He was my rock when Jon passed and I thank God for every day I was allowed to have him in my life. I love you Mary Jeanette. Praying for your comfort, peace, and healing of your broken heart. It will be a joyous reunion when we are all together again. Until then he will be greatly missed. Rest in God's love. Keeping you in my prayers.

Allen may be the best man I’ve ever known. I admired and respected him so much. His faith and dedication to the Lord was always inspirational. He welcomed life as a servant of God and lived for eternal life. I’ve never been more sure of one thing, Alan is the happiest he’s ever been right now. He is rejoicing with God and his children in Heaven.
God Bless You Mary Jeanette, family and friends,
Kenny Gray
