of Batesville, AR
January 13, 1949 - May 1, 2021
Cheryl Shaw passed away May 1, 2021 peacefully at her home with her husband and daughter by her side.
She was born January 13, 1949 in Dearborn, Michigan to Graydon and Mary (Harvey) Matteson.
Cheryl is preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Doug and Bill Matteson; and son, Larry Miller.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Tom, whom she married on August 1, 1970; daughter, Crystal Anderson (Wayne) and grandson, Zeb Anderson; sister, Dorne Goodrich (Chuck), several nieces and nephews, and her 10 week old puppy, Lucy.
Cheryl worked for White Rogers for more than 20 years. She enjoyed attending all of Zeb's sporting events, enjoyed going to her Red Hats meetings and socializing with her fellow members. She looked forward to spending winters at their place in Spring Hill, Florida, enjoying her friends and all the various social activities. She did like and occasional trip to the casino. The one thing she looked forward to the most was spending Christmas with her family and playing a gift exchange game only she understood.

Pallbearers are Wayne Anderson, Zeb Anderson, Randy Bolin, Todd Bolin, Michael Snyder, and James Reed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Independence County Human Society 5 Environmental Drive, Batesville, AR 72501.
Thanks to Dr. Mitchell Keel, Dr. Gilbert-Ro Kamoga, and staff at White River Medical Center for the excellent care and comfort and a special thanks to those of Arkansas Hospice for their wonderful compassionate care.
