Lorene Johnson Lemons, 88, of, Lutherville, AR passed away April 29, 2021 in Russellville, AR. She was born July 19, 1932 to her parents, Vaughn, and Virga (Patton) Wimmer of Ozone, AR. She was known for her pies and dumplings at South Park for 38 years. She enjoyed church, cooking, and yard sales.
She is preceded in death by her parents Vaughn and Virga (Patton) Wimmer; her husband Leon Johnson (Daddy of Children); her husband James Lemons; a grandson Ryan Johnson; and a daughter-in-law Suzie Johnson.
Lorene is survived by her four sons Donald Johnson of Lamar, AR; Gary (Ruby) Johnson of Clarksville, AR; Ronnie Johnson of Dover, AR; Randall Johnson of El Reno, OK; three daughters Brenda (Gary) Lowry of Dover, AR; Sandra West of Lamar, AR; Rhonda Smith of Dardanelle, AR; two sisters Linda Collins of Clarksville, AR and Betty Palmer of Puyallup, WA; 11 grandchildren Lawana Moore, Brandy Sams, Shaye Hartley, Sheri Cooley, Kirk West, Ashely Andrews, Dustin Johnson, Paige McKinney, Danielle Brock, Douglas Garner, and Desirae McCormack; and 15 great grandchildren; and a host of friends and family.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 2, 2021 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 10:00 AM at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Dwayne Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Holman Cemetery in Lamar, AR. Pallbearers are Gary Lowry, Ronnie Zachary, Dean Hammons, Marcus Crutchfield, James Holt and Matt Brock.

Lorene was a sweet woman, awesome cook, loved going to her house, she made wonderful meals. My favorite thing she made were her yeast rolls. Yummy! I know she was loved a lot , and she’ll be missed.
