Gary Ray Creech, 70, of Needham Arkansas, was united with his beloved wife of 43 years, Shirley Bradford, in Heaven on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. He was born May 20, 1950, to Charles and Glenda Creech, in Lake City.
Gary was a retired farmer. His favorite job in the fall was to operate the combine and he was very good at it. He worked several years as a John Deere parts salesperson and later in equipment sales for Baltz Equipment and Sukup at the Farville location. Gary also honored our country by serving in the Army National Guard.
He enjoyed deer hunting and trot lining for catfish. Many fond memories were made by spending time at Spring River with Greg and Renee and their families; especially frying fish on the river bank on July 4th.
Gary loved to attend church and received great comfort from listening to gospel music and hearing his family sing.
Preceding him in death are his parents; wife, Shirley Bradford Creech and brother, Wayne Creech.
Survivors include son, Greg (Tracy) Creech of Jonesboro; daughter, Renee (Mike) Summers of Jonesboro; his beloved six grandchildren, Abby Summers (Tyler) Labbe, Ally Summers, Brooke Summers, Wade Summers, Dylan Creech and Ashlyn Creech. He often spoke of their accomplishments. He is also survived by his brother, Jerry (Mary) Creech; sisters, Pat (John) Carlisle and Melinda (Carl) Dees of Mississippi; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank Gary's caregivers, Lacrisha Smith, James Tillman and Brianna Mullins.
