Sylvetta Marillian Young, 76, of West Memphis, AR, passed from this life into her Heavenly home on April 28, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Reed Burroughs, and Marrilian Burroughs; as well as her sister, Bonnie Turner.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, James Lester Young; her son Harrison Young (June); her brothers, Waymon Burroughs (Viola), and Thomas Burroughs; her sisters, Betty Eubanks (Jimmy), Nola Daniels (Dickie), and Jackie Burroughs.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from 10:00am to 11:30am, at First Baptist Church of West Memphis, with services immediately following.
Sylvetta will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Sylvetta's ever present beautiful smile was like a breath of fresh air. She was a classmate of mine at Parkin High School and can honestly say i never heard an unkind word spoken of her and she was well liked by everyone. My prayers for comfort are with James and all of her family and friends who have certainly lost a dear Lady.
