Dear Uncle Sam
I remember the moment you pulled up into the drive in Grandad’s old Ford Anglia having just arrived in England from America. You looked so cool!
You and Jackie were two of the most influential people for me
in our family as I grew up. I spent many happy hours in your family, looking after your beautiful children.
I’m so sorry this happened.. you have left a huge gap in the hearts of your family.. I hope you know you were loved deeply 💔
Sam, I’m so glad our paths crossed decades ago. I’m super grateful for our friendship. Thank you for being an amazing friend to me during the toughest times (battling leukemia/cancer) of my life. You always kept me laughing. You were one in a million and I am going to miss you a ton. All of my love and thoughts are with your beautiful family. Rest peacefully, my dear friend. xxx
RIP Sam, was always a pleasure & usually a weird & fun filled shift with you, out of work just as crazy, rest easy now xx
I have never been good at this, but I don't want that to keep me from letting you know the deep sympathy I feel for you at this time. Those who love us never go away. I hope you know that even during this dark time, Sam will always be with you in spirit.
Sam I can’t believe you have left us so soon, I thought we would grow old, crusty and even crabby but it’s not to be and I’m more sorry than I can say. Thank you for all the memories, I will cherish them. How lucky I am to have known you. Rest in peace my friend. Sue X
Sam,
Thank you for all the laughs (you had a great one), and the impeccable music recommendations. But most of all, for the wonderful legacy you leave behind - your special family. You're one of a kind, and I miss you. Wherever you are now, I'm sure the music's turned up to 11.
Love always,
Alan x

Everyone of my friends I’ve spoke to said how much of a geezer you are and how you always had a crazy story to share and it’s true you did. Sam
It's been a devastating shock to lose you suddenly like this.
We met in 1983 and you relocated to England with me. We made our life here and you gave me the most beautiful 4 children. We had so many happy years together and though in recent times we have lived apart you have been and will always be my soulmate. The love never dies that we share. We will miss the happy times of the 38 years and you shall remain in our broken hearts forever.
Ride free now on that super highway
Sleep peacefully my darling boy when you're not taking that next ride.
Your wife Jackie and the children Rosie, Lucy, Scarlett and Dylan

To all of Sam’s family. II will always have a special place in my heart for Sam. His sense of humor, his love for old cars (we all know him in his 56 Chevy), his love for music and hanging out with all of his friends and all the adventures that we all went on will always be remembered by all that knew him. Great times, great memories. Great man. I am truly sorry for your loss. Rest easy Sam.
R.I.P. Sam, was a pleasure knowing you x
Sam was a great guy, we were chatting online regularly until the end. His sardonic wit forever kept me on my toes, accompanied by his selection of good rockin’ toons.
