Martha Barber, I am very sorry for your loss.
Billie, Cindy and Steve and families,
Jolynn and I were so sorry to hear about Bill and our prayers will be with you in the coming days.
Your whole family has been great neighbors and friends of ours for over 50 years. I remember when my father died how you guys watched over us (and allowed me and my brothers to play ping pong in your garage for hours).
I also remember all the rides to school that Bill gave us.
Finally, thanks for you and Bill and Cindy and Steve for putting up with our teenage antics and finally, for helping watch over and take care of my mother in her final days.
God bless you all!
Kirby and Jolynn Pickens
What a strong man for God. I think of how his family was blessed to have him "on loan" from heaven to show them the love and the way to eternal life. Ms. Billie how you love him and took care oh him. What an amazing life you shared.
Ms. Billie and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I feel Blessed to have known Bro. Bill. He has been a true Christian example and an inspiration to me and many others. He will be missed.
Cindy, I wish this sad time was something you didn’t have to experience. I pray that all the wonderful memories you have of your dad will come to mind and comfort you. I have precious memories of you, your dad, mom, and family for which I am so very thankful. Blessings and may the Lord sit in your heart and give you peace!♥ï¸

Our hearts are sadden for the loss of a man and friend. He was one of the sweetiest persons we knew. We will miss him very much.
Billie, so sorry. I cherish the times (in that cold building) at McRae High School and the trips we took with the Senior Classes sometimes with Bill and Lindsey driving the school bus as far away as Panama Beach Florida.
Colleen and family, I am so sorry for your loss.
We lost a jewel in Bill Lassiter. Bill has a crown full of jewels right now. Great husband, father and grandfather! Mr. Bill (and Mrs. Billy) were great next door neighbors to my mom for many years. Thank you so much for a life very well lived. God bless and comfort you Ms. Billy. Looking forward to eating some of your super cooking on my next trip there. We are sorry, Cindy and Steve for your deep loss and you are in my prayers.
