For 16 years at the institute, Leo was my work colleague, friend, and confidant. My son Gunner worked directly for Leo in the maintenance department. Leo had a knack for listening. He knew when you were having a bad day or just needed to vent. He'd say, "Get in the truck, Satchel and let's go on a field trip". He just knew how to make a bad day better. When I would ask him if maintenance could do something, his response was always, "We'll take care of it", and they did. Rest in love, Leo for you will be missed forever! To Leo's family: thank you for sharing him with us. I pray the Lord comforts you and gives you peace and strength in the coming days.
