of Benton, AR
October 4, 1974 - April 9, 2021
Billy Wade Dawson, 46, of Benton, passed away knowing he was loved more than explanation, on Friday, April 9, 2021. He was born October 4, 1974 in Hot Springs to Stanly E. and Linda Kiser Dawson.
There was no doubt to anyone who met Billy that he was the light of the room, and the largest part of his family's hearts. He was sweet, loving, and the glue that held his family together. You could often find him enjoying his favorite things like going to the movies, swimming, taking trips to the lake, watching soap operas and The Weather Channel, and drinking a Coke. There wasn't a person who knew Billy that didn't immediately know how social he was, as he usually came up with the funniest ''one-liners'' and didn't miss an opportunity to share his fun personality with others, especially the many, many friends he had. You rarely saw him without a pair of sunglasses and to meet him was truly, to love him.
Billy is preceded in death by his father and stepfather, Joe Grover.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Grover; brothers, Mike Dickinson and wife, Christie, Larry Dawson and wife, Janet; sisters, Debra Gillion, Sharon Vaughn, and Angela Wood; nieces and nephews, Jaysin Gillion, Jacob Self, Mike T. Dickinson, Ricky Dawson, Rose Smith, Robert Bassford, and many other great-nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home, 6700 Alcoa Road, Benton.
Masks are encouraged due to the high-risk category of many of our guests.
So sorry, love you.
Doyle
