I haven't seen John since high school, but he has been in my thoughts many times. I always loved his keen sense of humor and his kind heart. He warmed the room where ever be was, and made others laugh. I will miss my friend and my prayers will include his family in the difficult days ahead. John, I'm looking forward to hearing your stories when we meet again.

John was a good man and preacher. He spent alot of time with my daddy sitting out under our pine trees in our yard. He was one of the kindest and most thoughtful men i ever knew. He is with the Lord forever and will be missed by all who ever met him. Prayers for his family and all his many friends. He led many folks to Jesus.â¤ï¸

I have no words to express how much I’m gonna miss you. Who can I have my late night talks with now I have known you for 40 years and you have always ,always been there for me. You may have left this old world but I’ll always treasure our friendship. Like I have always said “You can’t get rid of me ole buddy “and you always reminded me that I was older than you ( by 7 months) but although I can’t see you anymore on this old earth, I won’t say good-bye. I am saying see you later my wonderful buddy. Until we meet again, I’ll hold you in my heart.
To the family, I’m so sorry for your loss. I know this man loved all of you with his whole heart. I pray for comfort for you all. He was a very special man that you just couldn’t help but love him.He will be missed by so many.
