January 11, 1947 - March 31, 2021

Mary Sue Brean, 74, of Tyronza, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born January 11, 1947 in Marked Tree to David J. and Fledie (Hatley) Browder. Mary Sue worked for John and Frank Drug, JA Prices Jewelry and retired from EPC School. She was of the Church of God belief. Mary Sue was a Girl Scout troop leader, a youth group leader and was a gymnastics "Mom".

Mary Sue was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Murray Brean; brother, Billy Browder; sister, Deborah Whitamore; grandson, Tucker Allen Ward; and great-niece, Mary Cooper Pitts.

Survivors include two daughters, Christy (Delbert) Busby and Ashley (Bryon) Ward; grandchildren, Jake Collier and Malley Ward; and sister, Opal Malone.

Graveside services will be 1 pm Friday at Tyronza Cemetery with Eldron Gill officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro before the service.

Pallbearers will include Bryon Ward, Trey Pitts, Delbert Busby, Jake Collier, Gunner Pitts and Hunter Pitts.

So sorry for your loss. I went to church with Mary Sue in the 70's when I lived in Marked Tree. Mary Sue was such a sweet friend.
