Donald Hurst, 93, of Advance, Arkansas, passed away on March 30, 2021, at his home. He was born on January 5, 1928, to the late Grant and Tishie (Collins) Hurst in Dawt, MO.

Donald served in the United States Army in WWII and in the Korean War. He married Wanda Corinne Shelor on November 25, 1954, in Kansas City, MO. He retired from the postal service.

Donald enjoyed gardening and piddling and spending time with his family.

He is survived by four sons: Phillip Hurst of Norfork, AR, Dennis Hurst of Belton, MO, Michael Hurst of Cleveland, MO and Roger Hurst of Harrisonville, MO; two daughters: Patricia Hurst of Belton, MO and Susan Hurd of Wichita, KS; numerous grand children, great grandchildren, great-great children and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Corinne; by his parents; four brothers: James, Ruben, Clarence, and Rudolph; and two sisters: Nancy and Marie.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Roller Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 2, 2021, at Burnt House Cemetery.
