Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs to you Lou during this difficult time. We pray that you and your family will find peace in the joyous memories of your sweet mother.
From being my 5th grade English teacher at EAST Elementary to being my colleague at Batesville Middle School, Mrs. Mary Lou Oliver was such a strong mentor to me. She was also my brother's 5th grade homeroom teacher. She was a tremendous educator who held us to the highest standards. I am forever grateful for her dedication to the students in the Batesville School District.
Lou and family, you were her world. Prayers for you during this time.

Mrs. Oliver was such a great teacher! Prayers for the family.
Lou, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
Sending my condolences to the family.
She will always be remembered in Batesville for her teaching. My mother had her as a teacher as well as myself (I had her for home room in 5th grade.) she always says she loved her homerooms the best. (But, I bet she told all her classes she loved them.)
What a legacy she left at the middle school. So many touched by her teaching.
A strong woman and educator, she was a treasure. Lou and family, I send you love and comfort.
We didn’t realize it then, but Mrs. Oliver made learning to diagram sentences fun. She was a special lady and teacher. So sorry for your loss.
If my memory is right Mrs. Oliver was one of my 5th grade teachers at Batesville East Side Elementary School. I believe that she might have taught us how to diagram sentences.
Mrs. Oliver was a fantastic teacher and a good friend and coworker to my mother, Sylvia Crosby. She was my 5th grade English teacher and I never forgot her!
Lou, we are praying for you and your family.
