Joyce Johnston, age 78, was called home by her Heavenly Father on Friday, March 26, 2021 surrounded by her family. Joyce was born on November 22, 1942 in Rondo, Arkansas to the late James and Virginia Sellers.

Joyce was a homemaker and spent many years volunteering in the library of Spring Hill Elementary. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and embroidery.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jimmy; her sisters; Cathy Allen, Geraldine Ray; and her brothers; Bobby Sellers and Keith Sellers.

Joyce is survived by her four sons; Randy, Pat (Teresa), Chris (Diane) and Jay (Krissy); grandchildren, Joe Johnston, Alan Johnston, John (Lindsey) Johnston, II, Jenna Johnston, Amanda (Nathan) Cummings, Trevor Johnston, Carley (Chris) Peterson and Hunter Johnston; great-grandchildren, Noah Cummings, John Johnston, II, Joel Cummings and Madelyn Peterson; her sisters, Ann (Larry) McArthur, Glenda Martin; and her brother, Jimmy Sellers.

Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 10:00 A. M. at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas.

The family requests that any memorials be made to the Mid-South Food Bank or Literacy Mid-South.
