Anna Louise (Perry) McBee was born in Metropolis, Illinois on October 29, 1922 to parents Don Perry and Alma Farren (Downing) Perry.

Anna graduated from high school in Joiner, Arkansas. She married Louie Teel McBee in 1943 in Forrest City, Arkansas. They had three children: Charlotte (McBee) Hunter-Copper, PhD of Cathedral City, California, Larry Teel McBee of Bartlett, Tennessee and Mark Wane McBee of Memphis, Tennessee, three granddaughters: Lisa (McBee) Palmer, Tina (McBee) Scheibler and Marlana (McBee) Roberts, and a great grandson, Logan Teel Roberts. Anna and Louie lived in Memphis from 1959 until 1984 when they retired to Okeechobee, Florida. Widowed in 2002, Anna was a faithful member of Okeechobee Methodist Church. She was also a member of Okeechobee VFW, the American Legion, the Moose and the Eagles service clubs. Anna loved to dance.

Anna passed away on March 15, 2021, at 98 years old in hospice in Okeechobee after a brief hospital stay. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Donald Emanuel Perry of Bartlett, Tennessee and a sister, Lois Marie Perry of Collierville, Tennessee.

Private interment will be in Bassett, Arkansas where she will be laid to rest next to her husband and parents. Any memorials can be sent to Straight Arrow Ministries at P.O. Box 341122 Bartlett, Tennessee 38134

Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the Arkansas Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet must be practiced and all funeral attendees must provide and wear their own mask.
