Eula Faye Wootton, 80, a resident of Paris, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021, at the Heart of Hospice Palliative Care Unit in Fort Smith.
She was born July 17, 1940, in Scranton to the late William Linsey ''W.L.'' and Dorothy Eulema (Barnard) Grist. Eula Faye married J.B. Wootton on November 30, 1957, in Charleston. She attended the First Assembly of God in Paris. In her spare time Eula Faye enjoyed quilting, flowers and gardening, bird watching, jewelry, backyard chickens, cooking, travelling and most important, her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Otis Dean and Monroe Grist and a great granddaughter, Ava Elizabeth Rowe.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, J. B. Wootton of Paris; her children, Janice King and husband, Clinton of Ozark, Debra Rowe and husband, Roy of Paris, Doug Wootton of the home, Tracy Wootton and wife, Kathy of Magazine and Darian Wootton and wife, Sherri of Paris; eight grandchildren, Nathan King, Brian King, Justin Rowe, Jeremy Rowe, Josh Wootton, Tandi Wootton, Aaron Wootton and Becca (Wootton) Koch; 11 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Kaye Wilson and JoAnn Sory, both of Scranton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 22, 2021, at Roller Funeral Home in Paris with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with Rev. Kenny Maness and Rev. Nathan King officiating. Burial will follow in Moore Cemetery near Subiaco under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and all attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
Pallbearers will be Larry Grist and Richie Grist, Justin Rowe, Jeremy Rowe, Tracy Wootton, Aaron Wootton and Josh Wootton. Honorary pallbearers will be Ember Rowe, Tandi Wootton, Brian King, Becca Koch, Hannah Wootton, Roy Rowe, Clinton King, Ronnie Grist and Robert Wootton.
Our condolences to the family I remember as a small kid we go to their place and the guys would play music on the porch.

I was so blessed and honored to be asked to fix Mrs. Wooten’s hair for the last time .I prayed so hard that I would be strong and do it perfect just like she would have wanted it, and to please the entire family. She looked beautiful and I stepped back and broke down thinking about how many were going to miss this beautiful lady.
