Max H. Carter Sr., 86, of Marion, Arkansas passed away at his home on Saturday, March 13, 2021. Mr. Carter was born to A.Y. (Doc) Carter and Erma Northern Carter on February 10, 1935, in Lake City, Arkansas.
Max is preceded in death by his mother and father, and Bonnie Carter. Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Max Carter Jr. (Tracye) and Kevin Carter; stepdaughter Debbie Viverito; grandchildren, Chris Carter, Aaron Carter (Laura) and Zane Carter; great grandchild Krew Carter; brothers, Marl Carter, and Rick Carter; and Sisters, Minnie Long, Martha Carter and Carolyn Barber.
Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the Arkansas Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet must be practiced and all funeral attendees must provide and wear their own mask.

Mr Max was our neighbor for 7 years. He was always so kind to us. So sorry for your loss! Prayers for your family!

I was so saddened to hear of the loss to us of cousin Max. I have such great memories of him but take comfort in knowing he was welcomed into Heaven by many family and friends. I’m praying for Max Jr., Kevin and Debbie and all his grands, as well as Marl, Rick, Carolyn, Mart and Min. Unfortunately I am unable to be there to honor his life but will be thinking of you all with much love. I know how much he will be missed by all.
