Hey Dad...Sorry that's it's been almost a year. But nothing I type feels good enough. I miss you. I miss you more than anything in this world. You were absolutely the best father I could have asked for. I will never forget you or your teachings. I'm getting better and we're doing OK. I talk about you to the kids all the time. You can rest easy. You deserve it. I love you Pop. Forever and Always ❤

Our thoughts are with you Lori and your loved one's during this very sad and difficult time.
John was an inspiration to others, a real light in the darkness. He will be missed and definitely never forgotten. We would have loved to attend the funeral to pay our last respects but sadly South Africa is so very far.
May your soul rest in peace our beautiful friend !

I only knew you for nine years. But you made a huge impact on me. You may not have been blood but you were like a big brother to me. I love you for standing next to Brian as best man at our wedding. I was told you helped with my dad that day too, which iI am grateful for. I have wonderful memories of the time we had together and was so glad we got down to see you. Find peace being with loved ones you have been reunited with. You will truly be missed. Love always to you and your entire family. I have them in my heart and prayers that their pain gets a little easier each day. I will never forget you John.

John, I am happy I got to know you, and call you my friend. I will remember our conversations in HP F when I got sent over there to work, and playing in cornhole tournaments with you. I wish we could've played more, it was fun having you as a partner.
