Travis you were a great friend and a great doctor. I so appreciated the funny times we had in the operating room and our spirited talks about politics. Thank you for operating on both of my hands and taking care of multiple members of my family over the years. I still can not believe that you are gone. You will be missed so much by the AMMC family.
To the family, Katie, baby Connie, Nicholas and Stacey, please be comforted in knowing that Travis was a highly respected, unbelievably courteous and compassionate doctor who was a super busy hard worker, but at the same time never too busy to listen. I have personally had so many patients tell me about how impressed they were with his bedside manner.
Travis we will all miss you. You were taken from us way too early. Rest In Peace my friend.

Life had separated us at a young age but so much of my childhood memories involved Travis. He drove me to get better whether he knew it or not. I really wanted to catch up with him and reconnect and for selfish reasons I wish I had done so sooner. I am proud of the man he had become and in awe of what he accomplished. My heart goes out to all of the family and I wish I could do something to help. Being from Fifty Six is a pretty small fraternity and I never will forget it or Travis’s friendship.

My heart is sadden that i will never get to scrub a surgery with you again!
You always made me laugh in every case, even if it was a difficult one.
You would always have something comical to say and then you laughed at yourself which made it even funnier!
You had a kind heart! You was always concerned about your patients. You hated to say no to them when everyone else did! You wanted to ease their pain! You even came to my rescue one night at 1030pm when i called you & (you was NOT on call) because my dad had broke his ankle and i was freaking out bc he had bone cancer & taking chemo..You came right away and treated him and helped ease my worries! Then you thanked me for letting you treat my family! ❤️
It’s been a honor working with you. I will miss you & your laugh!

Katie, i can’t imagine what you are going through! I pray for you mentally & physically. I can’t wait to see his Connie Marie! I’m glad you will have her to help comfort you & remember him always!
My condolences to his son Nick which he loved more than anything! Talked about him constantly!

Fun, crazy adventures. You had a crazy number of gifts and talents, and you probably leveraged them more than anyone I know. You accomplished so much in 50 years. Hopefully you can take a break now, and whatever is next after this life, I hope it includes some time for us to sit down and catch up. Go Mustangs.
