Travis you were a great friend and a great doctor. I so appreciated the funny times we had in the operating room and our spirited talks about politics. Thank you for operating on both of my hands and taking care of multiple members of my family over the years. I still can not believe that you are gone. You will be missed so much by the AMMC family.
To the family, Katie, baby Connie, Nicholas and Stacey, please be comforted in knowing that Travis was a highly respected, unbelievably courteous and compassionate doctor who was a super busy hard worker, but at the same time never too busy to listen. I have personally had so many patients tell me about how impressed they were with his bedside manner.

Life had separated us at a young age but so much of my childhood memories involved Travis. He drove me to get better whether he knew it or not. I really wanted to catch up with him and reconnect and for selfish reasons I wish I had done so sooner. I am proud of the man he had become and in awe of what he accomplished. You always made me laugh in every case, even if it was a difficult one.
You would always have something comical to say and then you laughed at yourself which made it even funnier!

I think I thought you were invincible. This really doesn't make sense that you would leave so early. So many of the memories of my youth include you. Pivotal moments. Competitions of every kind.
