Donald Eugene Walraven, 67, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on March 8, 2021, at Methodist North Hospital. He was born September 30, 1953, in Wynne, Arkansas, to Grover and Mavis Gilmer Walraven.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and 3 brothers, Bill Walraven, Glenn Walraven, and Allen Walraven. Those left behind to cherish his memory is loving wife of 26 years, Cindy Walraven; daughter, Monica Morris (Marci); and sister, Brenda Atkins (Bobby).
Donald graduated from West Memphis Senior High School, and worked as a security guard for many years. He was a faithful member of Crosspointe Baptist Church, Millington, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends at Crosspointe Baptist Church, 8850 US-51, Millington, Tennessee, on Sunday, March 14, 2021, 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with a funeral service immediately following. Interment will be held at Memorial Park South Woods, 5485 Hacks Cross Road, Memphis, Tennessee, on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the local Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet is recommended for funeral services and all attendees are requested to wear masks.
Cindy, I was wondering why Don had not played the golf game in such a while. I thought he might have gotten sick. I fondly remember our lunch with you and Don in Jackson, MS and his pride and joy Sting Ray.

I will miss Donald, my cousin. He was a fine, gentle person who was easy to talk to. May God Bless and Keep you until we meet again in Heaven.
Our deepest condolences to Cindy, Brenda and Monica and all of the Gilmer and Walraven family. We always looked forward to seeing Donald and Cindy at the family reunion. Sending prayers for acceptance and comfort.
It was so sad to hear of Donald's passing. We were about the same age and played together many times as children. My condolences to his wife and family.
