Christine Fielder, 59, of Jonesboro, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at St. Bernards Hospital. She was born June 14, 1961 in Caruthersville, MO to Owen and Dolly (Denning) Walton. She was a homemaker and a member of Old Enterprise General Baptist Church. Christine loved to cook, going to flea markets and spending time with her grandkids.
Christine was preceded in death by her father; her husband of 38 years, Barry Fielder; and two brothers, Calhoun Walton and Charlie Walton.
Survivors include her mother, Dolly Walton; a son, Anthony (Jennifer) Fielder; two daughters, Amanda Fielder and Maci Fielder; grandchildren, Chase Fielder, Maddy Fielder and Braxton Holladay; a brother, Paul Walton and three sisters, Linda Dye, Rita Tubbs and Ruby Mellow.
Chapel services will be 10 am Thursday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Bobby Wade officiating and Brandi Boggs-Lamberth reading the obituary. Burial will follow at Lorado Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
Mickey Dement, Kiley Dement, Lester Wilson, Chase Fielder, Brian Fielder and Spencer Long will serve as pallbearers. Charlotte Dement, Casey Finley, Kelsy Dement, Fran and Rick Foreman, Junior and Wanda Cliff, Jennifer Wilson, Jeromie Glidewell and Larry Holladay will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Per CDC guidelines, masks are required and social distancing is to be observed.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of one of my longtime friends. I loved your Mom so much. She was such a sweetheart and loved her whole family dearly. She always kept her house immaculate and cooked 3 meals a day ever since I’ve known her. She missed Barry so much, that’s all she talked about besides loving all of you kids and grandkids.
