Douglas Herron, 92, of Hennessey, Oklahoma was born to Elmer Lee and Stella A (Johns) Herron on April 15, 1928 and left this life February 25, 2021.

Douglas married Eudene Goodman and to this union were born three children. Linda, Debbie, and Jimmy. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ash Flat; he enjoyed fishing and fox hunting with his buddies.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, his son, his sister, Eudene (Herron) Felton, and his granddaughter, Kristain (Johnson) Daniels.

He is survived by two daughters, Linda (David) Bryan of Hennessey, Oklahoma and Debbie Johnson of Ash Flat; daughter-in-law, Kim Herron of Cherokee Village; five grandsons, Cheveze (Flory) Gill of Mathis, Texas, Joe Herron of Cherokee Village, Harry (Vickie) Herron of Ash Flat, Jason (Meagan) Johnson of Hardy, and Joshua (Bri) Bryan of Hennessey, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Shannon (Jeff) Cameron of Annieville and Jessica (Creston) Gerth of Tuttle, Oklahoma; nineteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and three more on the way.

Arrangements were taken care of by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville and all services will be private.
