Lester (Lavern) Holt, SR, 77 of Russellville, AR., passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 in Little Rock, AR. Lavern was born April 19, 1943 in Jasper, AR., to Lester and Nora Belle (Armstrong) Holt. Lavern was a member of Bells Chapel in Atkins, AR. He loved fishing and playing with his grandchildren. Lavern retired from Firestone after 30 years of service.
Lavern is preceded in death by his parents, Lester, and Nora Belle (Armstrong) Holt, one sister Mary Elizabeth Holt, one brother Timothy Wayne Holt, and three grandchildren, Cassy Alexander, Justin Alexander, and Little Bill Hickman.
Lavern is survived by his spouse of 42 years Reba M. (Falls) Holt of Russellville, AR; four sons Andrew (Traci) Holt of Williston, ND; Lester (Andrea) Holt, JR of Russellville, AR; Roger Upton of Russellville, AR; Ronnie (Polly) Gray of Salem, IN; three daughters Marilyn (Buddy) Alexander of Dover, AR; Cindy (William) Hickman of London, AR; Donna Love of Russellville, AR; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers John Holt of Russellville, AR; Steve (Lisa) Holt of Russellville; four sisters Rosalia Nordin of Dardanelle, AR; Pauline Cross of Dardanelle, AR; Esther (Butch) Bewley of Dardanelle, AR; Brenda Norris of Russellville, AR and a host of other friends and family.
Visitation is 10:00-11:00 A.M. Friday, March 5, 2021 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Service will follow at Lamar Cemetery in Lamar, AR with Bro. William Hickman and Bro. Earl Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Lamar Cemetery with Roger Upton, Andrew Holt, Steve Holt, John Holt, Ronnie Gray and Buddy Alexander serving as pallbearers.
