Quimbia Rex Potts, 64, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at his home. He was born June 7, 1956 in Elgin Illinois to Lottie Short Potts and the late Quimbia Potts.

He is survived by his spouse, Susan Kennedy Potts; four children, Christopher Lee Potts, Alexander Scott Potts (Doris), Shannon Renee Potts (Jason) and Quimberlynn Michelle Potts (Jeremy); three step children, Tabatha Jones (Chris), Jamie Barbie (Wesley) and James Allen Kennedy (Crystal); 24 grandchildren, Christopher Lee Potts, II, Courtney Devonne Potts, Katelyn Jade Potts, Clayton Anthony Potts, Wyatt Matthew Potts, Addison Avery Potts, Lillian Kate Potts, Anthony Brett Reynolds, Parker Madison Hadder, River Christian Reynolds, Isabella Jordan Reynolds, Temperance Madison Reynolds, Christopher Sorsby, Jacob Potts, Conner Sorsby, Hunter Bailey Lovell, Hayden Wayne Jones, Landon Carter Barbie, Logan Jacob, Kobe Barbie, Paisley Barbie, Daisja Cartwright, Joshua Kennedy and Daniel Kennedy; one great grandchild, Callie Potts; sister, Patricia Watkins; nephew, D.J. Watkins; a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Quimbia Potts.

A memorial service for Quimbia Rex Potts will be posted at a later time and date.

Lottie I am so sorry for the loss of your son Rex I know it is really hard to lose your child I loss my oldest son in 2010 and I know a Mom just should not outlive their child . That is what my Mom always said . My prayers will be with you , I have thought of you and Ollie often . Take care of yourself

My prayers go out to Lottie. I can't imagine the hurt you feel. I pray God's grace on you peace and comfort for you. I hurt for my children it is not easy to lose a parent. God brings you to situation and he will bring you through it. Love on each other stay as close as possible you will give each other strength.
