Leo Schwarz, 90, of Weiner, AR, passed away February 16, 2021 at the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg, AR. He was born December 14, 1930 in Weiner to Conrad and Viola (Lehr) Schwarz. Leo was a farmer and a lifelong member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, where he served on the cemetery board. He also served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 29 years, Bobbie (Marshall) Schwarz; a brother, Robert Schwarz; and a sister, Frances Bornhoft.

Survivors include a brother, Phil Roth; and a sister-in-law, Susie Proctor.

Services will be 10 am Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Weiner with Father Tuyen-Do officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.

David Bornhoft, Paul Schwarz, Tony Schwarz, Ray Jones, Brad Schwarz and Matt Roth will serve as pallbearers. H.J. Schwarz, Sherman Sanders, Ronnie Strange, S.P. Schwarz, David Schwarz and Rick Proctor will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be Monday from 5 pm to 6:30 pm, with rosary beginning at 6:30 pm at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Per CDC guidelines, masks are required with social distancing observed.

I will always remember Uncle Leo as a kind and gentle person. One of the happiest days was your wedding to Bobbie. My parents Sue and John Roth and I made the trip for this happy event. Rest In Peace .
