Sad to see another friend leaving this world. Remember the good times with James(TURTLE), Albert, Paul and our better halves! Those were the days! A friend for almost 50 years! We will miss you!
Karen and Carol I just found out about James passing away. I will always treasure his memory and the good times we had, especially water skiing with Paul Smith and Gene Lindley. Although I did not get to see him much after I moved to Batesville, I considered him one of my dearest friends. He was always a lot of fun and I enjoyed just being around him. I will miss him a lot.
Sincere condolences and prayers for the family and friends.
We known James for years were friends with Buster and Josie . Turkey hunted with him and got a Triple.Pretty good for 3 old country boys. He ate at our table and love Janis corn bread. God BlessJames
And Bill may they Hunt in the Heavenly hunting ground.
I know all the condolences should be about James but you cannot mention his name without Bill Dennis' name coming in before long. Thats how tight they were. They were like the big brothers I did not have growing up in" old Barton". They chose to allow me on much of their hunting and fishing trips. I never met anyone who was more skilled at either sport. I would not be surprised if Bill had a trip planned for James upon arrival. Condolences to the family and friends James has left on earth. Due to a disability I saw less of him in the last several years. He was a great guy and will be sorely missed.
James was a good man. He will be missed.
Carol Gene and I are keeping you in prayers. We love you
Carol I'm so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are in my prayers. Love you
