Paul R. Boggan, Sr.
Paul R. Boggan, Sr., passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born on May 29, 1959, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Paul served five years in the United States Air Force as a jet engine mechanic. Over the years, he had an entrepreneurial mindset making the most of opportunities and succeeded in a variety of settings including operating a fence company, serving in law enforcement and building construction. His most important contribution, was in his career, as a Machinist Engineer where he excelled.
He had a servant's heart, very generous always putting others first and kind to all. To this end, there are many stories from family, friends and neighbors that verify he was a true ''Southern Gentleman''. Paul's hobbies included fishing, playing pool, problem solving games and tinkering.
Paul is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patricia; two sons, Paul Boggan, Jr. and Joe Young III; one daughter, Cheri Hale (Kerry); four grandchildren, Micah Boggan, Jasper Boggan, Payton Boggan and Cavitt Hale.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Peggy Boggan and one brother, Larry Boggan.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
Visitation will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, 201 N. Pine Street, West Memphis, AR, on March 2, 2021, at 1:00PM with the funeral service starting at 2:00PM.
Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the Arkansas Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet must be practiced and all funeral attendees must provide and wear their own mask.

It was so good to see Paul at the last Treadwell reunion. He was the life of the party as he showed off his dance moves. He will be missed. I am praying for his family.
