August 10, 1932 - February 20, 2021

Barbara Jean Sisk was born on August 10, 1932 and she passed peacefully in her sleep on February 20, 2021.

She was 1 of 11 children of Frank & Jane VanBuskirk. She is survived by her brother Bob (Sharon) and her sister Sue.

She was married to Everett Lee Sisk of Batesville, AR on June 6, 1953. Together they had 3 sons Dennis, Greg and Steve and rejoiced over them and their families. She was an Air Force Veteran, an active member of her Pistakee Lake Community, and Joyful Harvest Church. She was a fundamental, thoughtful and loving person, not just to our large family, but also to many friends and neighbors families. She was very talented & crafty and enjoyed sharing her projects and floral arrangements with others. She loved traveling, enjoyed sports including bowling and golf leagues. She was also a role model to all, with her generosity, honesty, and family values.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Colonial Funeral Home in McHenry. Funeral services with be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville. She will be laid to rest with military honors next to her husband of 58 years at Barnes Cemetery in Batesville, Arkansas.

Our mother now becomes our and everyone's memory and our memories become our treasures.
