I will never forget the wise personal advice Joe gave me during my time as a young branch manager at First Commercial. His voice was always calm and reassuring. My deepest sympathy to the family and friends.
As a friend of Angela, I would hang out at their house back in the day and Joe and Judy always made me feel welcome. What a warm, sweet man he was. He is dancing with Jesus today!
Angela, I know you know this already but you had a wonderful, special daddy. Reunion day will be sweet.
Judy and family you have my deepest sympathy. I always enjoyed working with Joe at the bank. Also, doing special projects around the house the last few years for you.
We are so sorry for your loss. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
I will always remember Mr. Joe taking Angie and me fishing! He was always fun and so nice to be around. Sending love and prayers for your family. â¤ï¸
Joe was not only George’s (Smith) boss for many years but a friend also.
Joe and George used to fish together and meet for lunch after retiring. Now They can have lunch in heaven together.
George truly admired and respected Joe and considered it a privilege to have known him.
So sorry for your loss.

Our Deepest Sympathy,
Wayne & Betty Pelton
I got to know Mr. Akers as a customer at the bank I once worked at. I enjoyed his smile and our conversations as he did his banking. I later realized that I also knew him from church, Spring Creek where I am member as well as my parents, Wayne & Betty Pelton. My heart is heavy for his family in this great loss of a Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend. I pray God brings you peace and delivers comfort to each one of you.
With my Deepest Sympathy,
