Mr. Jerry Bruce Maleare, age 75, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on February 18, 2021. He was born to parents J.B. and Ruth (McInturff) Maleare on September 18, 1945 in Marmaduke, Arkansas.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Charlene (Lentz) Maleare; one son, Perry (Karen) Maleare of Nixa, MO; one daughter, Tamra (Tyler) Casteel of Rogers, AR; seven granddaughters, Morgan Maleare, Madison Maleare, Carlee Casteel, Riley Sims, Charlee Sims, Ella Casteel, and Alexis Casteel; one sister, Karen Kerr of Gravette, AR; one sister-in-law, Fran Maleare; and many other extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, William Thomas, and James Maleare.
Jerry was a faithful member and Deacon of Mountain Home Church of Christ. He proudly served his country in the Air Force for three years. Jerry was the President of the Arkansas Land Title Association from 1990 to 1991. Jerry defined the title of ''family man''. He was a devoted husband, supportive and loving father, and an even better grandfather. He loved his family with everything he had and enjoyed every moment he got to spend with them especially during their many trips to the beaches of Florida. Jerry is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his loving family.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 9-10 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. at Mountain Home Church of Christ with Minister Ken Burton officiating. The services will stream live on our Facebook page, which can be located at https://www.facebook.com/RollerMountainHome/. An interment will follow the services at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mountain Home Church of Christ for missions. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home. For online condolences please visit our online guestbook at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/mtnhome.

We were fortunate to live across the road to Jerry & Charlene. They both were certainly soul mates and worked together in their yard and vegetable garden as one. However the mowing was always Jerrys.
It's such a great sad loss for all of us that Jerry has gone to be with his Lord.
This very nice loved man will be missed.

Jerry and Charlene were fixtures when I served as youth minister in Mountain Home several years back. My wife and I were talking about them this afternoon and I said that they were like an old-time comedy team. THEY WERE HILARIOUS to be around and such wonderful people.
Charlene and family, we want you to know how sorry we are to hear of this tragic loss. As usual, not enough has ever been said by us about how we feel about the both of you and how much you both have meant to us over these years.
May God bless you all and give you peach that only He can give but, at the same time, may there also be some comfort from all of the things said and spoken that speaks of not only Jerry but of the whole Maleare family. Indeed, a life well-lived.
