Hillard Holcomb, 88, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away February 17, 2021, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Hillard was born October 22, 1932, in Jonesboro, to the late W.O. and Ucille Holcomb. He was a member of the Greensboro Church of Christ and served his country in the United States Navy. Hillard enjoyed fishing, yardwork, building, and traveling.
Hillard was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of sixty-four years, Dona Lucas Holcomb; grandson, Michael Holcomb, and sister, Clara Wolverton.
Left to cherish his memory are son, Rick (Rhonda) Holcomb; daughter, Teresa Holcomb; grandchildren, Paige (Davey) Holcomb-Webb, Sarah (Allan) Holcomb McKenzie, and Holly (John) Gibson; great grandchildren, Madison (Jordan) Holcomb McCormack, Kyland Holcomb, Tyler Holcomb, Ethan Holcomb, Jonathan (Jessica) Gibson, Matthew (Brittany) Gibson, and Bethany Gibson; great-great grandchildren, Jude Gibson and Evelynn Gibson; and sister, Lottie (Randy) Garner.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, February 26, 2021, at Pine Log Cemetery (pavilion) with Brother Terry Joe Kee officiating.
Family will serve as pallbearers and the brothers of the Greensboro Church of Christ will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, https://www.stbernards.info/foundation/donations, in Hillard's honor.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health and observing social distancing guidelines. All attendees must provide and wear masks at the graveside.
So sorry to hear this. We on Mays Road will miss seeing them working in their beautiful yard. Always an inspiration and always ready to visit. Wonderful people.

Mr Holcomb was a patient of Dr Grubbs for many years. I manage the clinic and have known Mr Holcomb all that time. He was always so sweet and kind to us all. May he rejoice in heaven with his precious wife. He will be missed. ðŸ™âœï¸
