D.B. Franklin Caraway, 93, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 15, 2021.
Mr. Caraway was born March 7, 1927 in Lafferty, Arkansas to Homer Richard Caraway and Myrtle Rubellar (Clark) Caraway. He was a resident of Mount Pleasant and later Franklin, Arkansas.
D.B. attended Lafferty Community Church and Cornerstone Community Church in Cushman. He served in the Marines and was also a member of the Masonic lodge. He was a cattle rancher and dozer operator. His joy was spending time with his family.
D.B. is survived by his son, Nathan Caraway and wife, Latricia of Franklin, Arkansas; granddaughter Andrea Baltes and husband Christopher and their daughter, Bethany of Longview, Texas; grandson Blake Caraway and wife Laura and their children Ryker, Rylee and Ally of Batesville, Arkansas; granddaughter Maggie Tharp and husband Kris and their son Luca of Batesville, Arkansas; granddaughter Lori Beth Walker of Franklin, Arkansas; also many loving nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Peggy Agnis (Edwards) Caraway; daughter Rebecca Ruth Caraway; son D.B. Junior Caraway; and brothers, Billy Wayne Caraway and J.C. Caraway.
Pallbearers are Kerry Caraway, Kenny Caraway, Kris Caraway, Paul ''Wimp'' Winkle, Tim Edwards, and Jamie Edwards.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville with Doyne Robertson officiating. Burial will be at Reeves Pine Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm Tuesday just prior to service at the funeral home.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks social distancing will be observed.
