January 22, 1964 - February 16, 2021
Jeffrey S. Martin, Sr., age 57, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in Mountain Home, Arkansas, surrounded by his family. He was born January 22, 1964 in Aurora, Illinois to Delbert and Harriett (Thomas) Martin. Jeff was one of nine children, having seven brothers and one sister.
The Martins grew up in Aurora, but began vacationing to Lake Norfork when they were young. Eventually, most of them decided to make it their home. Jeff shared so much joy introducing his children to all that Norfork has to offer. He married Leanna Coggins on June 3, 2001 in Norfork, Arkansas, where they raised their two daughters. Our most treasured memories of Jeff will be exploring the rivers, lakes, and creeks with him, and sitting around the kitchen table listening to his entertaining stories. Jeff had an adventurous spirit and he stayed young at heart his entire life.
Left to honor Jeff is his wife Leanna, and their two daughters, Kaitlyn (Jacob) Mashburn and Kadence Martin; Jeff's two sons, Jeffrey (Therese) Martin and Chad (Noell) Martin; his seven grandchildren, Quinn, Caelan, Vivienne, Elowyn, Elise, Eleanor, and Dennon; his siblings, Bill, Terry, Jake, Mark, David, Debbie, and Steve; many nieces and nephews; and an abundance of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Harriet, and his brother, Chuck Martin.
Jeff's family will hold a private memorial service to celebrate a life that will be missed greatly.

So sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. It's been a long time, but I have very fond memories of Jeff. His bright eyes, his amazing smile, and his great sense of humor. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
