My dear uncle I will miss our conversations, especially about our shared recollections of being members of the U.S. Army. While being the youngest of the Drope children you were th bulwark of the family. I know you will be missed by your children and grandchildren. Knowing you are now resting in peace with your Lord and Savior.

Bye for now, Ferrell

Gerald was a gentleman, a fine example of a Christian, a wonderful boss, a thoughtful friend, helpful neighbor and caring human being. When he opened a bookstore in Trumann I worked for him and then transferred to his bookstore in Indian Mall. He would always take the time to explain things I asked about and did the same for customers who came into the store. He introduced me and my husband to many wonderful Christian authors and we had many discussions about some Bible doctrines. May God richly bless the family he leaves behind. Our deepest condolences to Pam and the boys in the loss of such a wonderful father.
