Robert Don (Donnie) Roam, of Searcy, Arkansas departed this life on Sunday, February 7, 2021.
He was born in Warren, Arkansas October 11, 1957, son of Plez Roam and Mary F. Kinard Roam Whitfield.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Whitfield, of Benton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Plez Roam, an infant sister, Sandra Roam, and a brother, Ronnie Roam.
Mr. Roam spent 14 years in the US Army Rangers and several years as a truck driver. He also worked on the barges on the Mississippi. At the time of his death, Mr. Roam had been disabled for a number of years.
A Funeral Service with military honors will be Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home, 6700 Alcoa Road, Benton. Private interment will be in the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
