Luetta Richmond Dawson, 80, of Lexa passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Crittenden Baptist Hospital in West Memphis, AR. She was born January 8, 1941, to the late William Grady Richmond and Lois McCoy Richmond.
Luetta was a member of the Lexa Baptist Church over 50 years where she taught Sunday School and lead the Girls Auxiliary/Girls in Action program for many years. She practiced farming with her husband over 40 years but her priority in life was always her family. She especially loved cooking for them and playing Skip-Bo with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful Christian mother, sister, aunt, & Granny who always loved her family dearly.
She is survived by two daughters, Janelle Sellers (Jim) of Horseshoe Lake, AR, and Montie Hobson of Rogers, AR; one son, Ray Henry Dawson, Jr. (Connie) of Brickeys; one sister, Lorie Patton of Marion, AR; 15 grandchildren, Jennifer Bouchillon, Leslie Carter, Kyle Stoner, Rachel Dawson, Jack Dawson, Kelli Hardy, Felicia Perez, Lindsay Welborn, Hayley Hobson, Chapman Morrow, Dory Gaston, Kat Sellers, Brandon Hobson, Alison Shepherd, and Amanda Hobson; 11 great-grandchildren, Dean Mumaw, Dustie Mumaw, Jovie Carter, Mac Bouchillon, Rush Bouchillon, Zane Bouchillon, Judge Stoner, Mary Chapman Morrow, Lucy Gaston, James Gaston, Makynzie Bowen, Paizli Moore, Warren Moore, Thea Moore, Brooke Wolter, Rayleigh Perez, Rylan Perez, Greyson Perez, Ana Welborn, Dalton Welborn, Sydney Hobson, Gavin Hobson, Garrison Hobson, Mason Shepherd, Bryce Hobson, and Barrett Hobson; and sisters-in-law, Bonnie, Sandra, and Jean Richmond.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Henry Dawson, Sr.; son, Stephen Ray Dawson; sister, Carrie Jean Burt; and brothers, Grady Jr., Henry, Bob, and Wilson Richmond
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Roller Citizens Funeral Home with Brother Tommy Jacobs officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.
Pallbearers are Vic Richmond, Vince Richmond, Brandon Hobson, Will Dawson, Clay Dubach and Ryne Dubach.
Honorary pallbearers are Jim Sellers, Gary Burt, Van Sr., Fred Webb, Ronald Rose and Larry Richmond.
Memorials may be made to Lexa Baptist Church.

Miss Luetta was one of the kindest and wonderful people I knew growing up. I was in the Girl's Auxiliary class she taught at Lexa Baptist. Great memories. She and Ray lived across the field from my parents. I am so saddened to hear she passed away. My condolences to the family.
We were so sorry to become aware of the loss of Ms. Dawson. She was a very sweet lady, and will be truly missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. God bless each of you. I know that the Lord is taking care of her.

Ms. Luetta was one of the best. She was a big part of my life growing up at Lexa Baptist. Love and prayers for you all, I know she will be missed.
We loved Aunt Luetta. She was a fine person and loved God and her family fiercely. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. You are all sincerely in our thoughts and prayers.

I was blessed to share a lifelong friendship with Luetta. Memories abound of our mutual school and church activities, working at our first jobs, and going off to college together.
Her family was always the center of her world, and it was evident when she beamed with pride whenever she spoke of them. Long will her memory live in the hearts of those who knew her.

I am so sorry to hear of Luetta passsing. She and I we're classmates, and we're in church and Sunday School together. She always had a smile and a warm greeting when I saw her. A very lovely lady and is going to be missed by many.
