Dr. Tony Taylor, 65, of Batesville passed away Friday, February 5, 2021.
He was born August 6, 1955 in Newport, Arkansas to Lee and Shirley (Dodd) Taylor.
Tony graduated from Walnut Ridge High School in 1973 and went on to become a chiropractor for 30 years, practicing in Jonesboro starting in 1981. Tony loved the Razorbacks and enjoyed watching them on t.v. He enjoyed hunting, politics, and taking care of the family farm.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Taylor of Newark, Brad Taylor (Paulena) of San Diego, California; a daughter, Christy Henault (Andy) of Conway; two brothers, Tom Taylor of Batesville, and Jim Taylor of Florida, and five grandchildren, Tyke Taylor, Alexander Taylor, Valentina Taylor, Brayden Henault and Kaylee Henault.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers are Chad Taylor, Jordan Taylor, Blake Taylor, Dustin Taylor, Tyke Taylor, and David Leatherbarrow.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, February 9, 2021 2:00 p.m. at Strangers Home Cemetery in Alicia, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12 noon, at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville prior to the service.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks social distancing will be observed.
Tom and Jim, I’m so sorry for your loss. Tony was a great guy and will be dearly missed. RIP Tony.

Tommy and Jim it’s been many years since I have seen y’all. I just read this in the gazette. I am very sorry to hear about tony. We all had a lot of good times in walnut ridge playing football and such. My heart goes out to y’all. It’s very hard to loose a brother. I will try to get down to the visitation. Randy Tribble.
