James ''Jimbo'' Michael Powers, 59, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on January 31, 2021 in Paris.
He was born on August 24, 1961 in West Memphis, Arkansas to his parents, John Ernest Powers and Sammie Jo (Carlton) Powers. James worked for Cloyes Gear and Stark Manufacturing in Paris for several years. He loved doing woodworking, playing pool and ping pong. James often stated he wanted to be his own person, a very private person, he loved spending his free time in the outdoors alone enjoying nature.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Sammie Jo Powers; one brother, Johnny Carlton Powers and one sister, Norma Jean Todd.
He is survived by his three sisters, Linda Johnson and husband, Gene of Cabot, Arkansas; Ginny Webb and husband, John of Memphis, Tennessee and Cindy Patton and husband, Al of Proctor, Arkansas; other family members and friends.
The family will conduct a private family memorial service at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Jimbo was my pal. I met him when I worked at the bank. He was a cool dude and I always enjoyed chatting with him. I hate to hear about him passing. I always liked him, glad I had the opportunity to meet him!
He was a real nice guy and good neighbor don and I will miss him RIP
