Patricia Louise May

of Alexander, AR

September 25, 1938 - February 1, 2021

Patricia Louise May, 82, of Alexander, passed into the loving arms of her Savior on Monday, February 1, 2021. She was born September 25, 1938 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Dominic Verdon and Catherine Davis.

Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and anything you needed her to be. Being around her family and making life fun and enjoyable was something you could often find her doing. She always put a smile on your face and left a whole lot of joy wherever she went. An amazing seamstress and homemaker, she poured her heart and soul into the love and care of those who were near and dear to her. She will be missed but her memory will be cherished and her legacy will continue through those who loved and cared for her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Royce May; sons, Ross May, Richard May, James May, and John May; daughter, Sandy Brown and her husband, Gary; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two brothers, one sister, and many other extended family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be announced in the Spring.

Pat had a, not obvious, strong ability to adapt to life changes. First, living with grandparents when dad left for world war II service and then marrying and initially moving into an environment with no familiar people. When asked about the situations Pat didn't think anything of it. She was a very caring person.

I'm so sorry I failed to tell you how much I love you and how much of an impact you have made on my life. A lost chance that I will never get back. I love you, grandma.

Our precious sister in Christ. You will be greatly missed by your church family. Your light was always so bright. With a great amount of mischief. You said what you meant and you meant what you said and we were all the better for it. A true friend tells you the truth. They are hard to come by. Thank you for being our friend. LOVE AND MISS YOU.
To Royce and the family. You know more than anyone what a treasure she was in your life. Our heart goes out to you. Love. ROGER AND PAM RUTHERFORD
