Jewelia Carrie Gans, 31, of Southaven, MS passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021. She was born March 10, 1989 in Lexington, TN to Wayne and Debbie Perkins.
She had a Bachelor's Degree from Arkansas Northeastern College, had previously worked as a LPN, and enjoyed life as a Homemaker. She was a gold award recipient from the Girl Scouts and later became a scout leader.
Jewelia had an essential oil business and loved beautiful flowers. She had many hobbies and activities that were close to her heart. Quilting and crocheting wonderful gifts for her loved ones topped the list. She was a proud and loving aunt.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Billy Wayne and Betty Perkins.
She is survived by her husband: Michael Gans of Southaven, MS; her parents: Wayne and Debbie Perkins of Osceola, AR; her brother: Chris (Jessica) Perkins of Lake City, AR; nephew: Hudson Noon Perkins; niece: Finleigh Grey Perkins; parents-in-love: Donald and Robyn Gans of Weyauwega, Wisconsin; aunts: Stefanie (Danny) Smithey of Osceola, AR, Diana Brown of Florida; uncles: Jon (Judy) Statton of Eureka Springs, AR, Larry (Alison) Statton of Baton Rouge, LA; cousins: Courtney (Brandon) Powell of Osceola, AR, BrieAnna Smithey of Osceola, AR, Chanse Smithey of Little Rock, AR and many more cousins, family and friends.
Graveside Visitation will be held at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens on Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens.
We are following the guidelines of the Arkansas Department of Health and will only be allowing up to 100 people into the funeral home at any given time. All attendees over the age of 10 must wear a face covering.

I miss Jewelia already. Jewelia laid on my massage therapy table. Her presence was a gift to me. I felt so connected to her gentle loving spirit.
I am thankful to God for gifting me with Jewelia’s presence. What an honor, what a precious gift, so sweet, so beautiful.
