Henry Earnest Wells passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 in Ripley, Mississippi at the age of 80. Henry was born February 19, 1940 to parents Johnny and Bessie Wells.

Henry attended Christ Temple Apostolic Church in Walnut, Mississippi. He was a mechanic by trade and loved to watch the races, especially drag racing as well as being an all-around sports fan in general. He had a very close relationship with his mother throughout the years. They had a special bond.

Henry is survived by his three sons, Keith Wells (Lisa), Russell Wells (Tina) all of Walnut, Mississippi and Chris Wells (Amy) of Mt. Pleasant, Mississippi. He leaves two brothers, Harold Wells (Tommie) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and John Wells (Annette) of Byhalia, Mississippi as well as three sister, Irma Poole of Arkansas, Carolyn Timbs of Atoka, Tennessee and Connie Burch (Tiny) of Burnsville, Mississippi. He will be deeply missed by six grandchildren, Casey Wells, Kevin Wells, Kyle Wells, Cody Wells, Savannah Wells and Dalton Wells along with three great-grandchildren Raylan Wells, Mady McCallister and Jaxon Kilby. Henry is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Evelyn Nichols and Doris Manley.


Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the Arkansas Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet must be practiced and all funeral attendees must provide and wear their own mask.
