of Saffell, AR
June 14, 1958 - January 20, 2021
Jimmy Dean Bell, 62, carpenter, cattle farmer, volunteer fireman, bee keeper, husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home, January 20, 2021 after a bravely fought battle with esophageal cancer. Jim loved his family, friends and his farm. Please remember him with a smile when you load your best dog to check the cows, smell fresh sawn wood or fresh cut hay. When you see honey bees and taste their honey, or see the sunset from your back porch, remember him. When you measure twice and cut once and when your actions speak instead of words, think of him.
Jimmy was born to A.L. Bell and Dolores (Martz) Bell on June 14, 1958 at Gray's Hospital in Batesville, Arkansas. He went to school at Strawberry School District and Gateway VoTech in building trades; he married Regina Nadine (Bratcher) Bell on July 25, 1980 in Strawberry, Lawrence County, Arkansas. I started first grade with Jimmy & graduated with him. He never had an unkind word for anyone which was rare & special even after all these years. My thoughts & prayers are with all of his family & friends.
So sorry for your loss. Jimmy was one of the good ones. Prayers for peace and strength only God can supply you with to get through this.
As I sit here and tears run down my cheeks, I feel sorrow for the loss of someone as special Jim. Though we are told to be sad, there is also a sense of joy that Jim is in the presence of Jesus. God gives us sadness and tears as a way of saying goodbye to our loved ones! Look forward and take one day at a time. Some days will be better than others and knowing tomorrow is a fresh new day. Regina, I am sending my love and prayers.
Love,
Sue

So sorry for your loss have your family in my prayers
Delores, Regina, Michelle, Renee and loved ones, I am so sorry for your loss. You remain in my prayers.
Wonderful Jimmy memories, his discerning voice, pictures of him, the sound of his voice over the years have rolled through my mind and over my heart these past couple of days. From youthful adventures around the Bell and Daggett places, to the night A.L. and Delores called the fire department and Jimmy showed up with the great men who volunteered and succeeded in saving Dad's life and getting him to WRMC; to crispy fall mornings standing around with Dad, Lefty, A.L., J.C. and whoever stopped by talking deer stands and harvests, to Bart and I trying to score all that was left in Strawberry of the best honey anywhere -- his and Justin's -- and many a meeting at a church, funeral home or cemetery, honoring them that brung us. I thank God for him and his memories.
My prayers and deepest sympathies are with you. He loved you all so very, very much. What a blessing you were, Jimmy Dean Bell.
I pray that you may ever feel his presence, his wise thoughts unspoken, his knowing grin and laughter, the vigilant protection and assistance of a fine husband, son and brother: so many memories to treasure for lifetimes. May you find some comfort in his transformation "back home", in his newfound peace, in knowing he is joyfully reunited with his God, family and friends on the other side.
May your faith remain strong in the truth and knowledge that your will see him again, and oh what a day that will be.
My love and virtual hugs to each of you and your wounded hearts this day. God bless. God bless. God bless.
My heart goes out to you and your family. Prayers for God’s comfort and strength.
